DUSHANBE, February 24, 2015, Asia-Plus – Search is continuing for three girls reported missing in the country in recent days.

The Interior Ministry’ press center reports resident of Khujand, Dilshodjon Mulloyev, has applied to the Interior Ministry’s office in Khujand saying that his sister, Dilfouza Mulloyeva, 19, was last seen on February 18 when she went out of the house at 6:40 pm.

Another case of missing girl has been reported in the northern Sughd province in Istaravshan.  Resident of the Guli Surkh jamoat Abduqahhor Jabborov has applied to the Interior Ministry’s office in Istaravshan saying that his granddaughter Ganjina Ikromzoda, 16, has been missing since February 19.  She was reportedly last seen at 10:00 am when she went out of the house.

The third case of missing girl has occurred in the southern province of Khatlon.  The 44-year-old Gavhar Akramova has reportedly applied to the Interior Ministry’s office in Qurghon Teppa saying that her 19-year-old daughter Nasiba Akramova has been missing since February 20.

Search operations for the missing girls are under way, the source says.
