DUSHANBE, February 27, 2015, Asia-Plus — a RESIDNE TOF THE Vakhsh district in Khatlon province has been arrested on suspicion of robbing jewelry shop.

The Interior Ministry’s website reports Ms. Fayziqul Sharifova, resident of the Vakhsh district, has applied to the Interior Ministry’s office in Vakhsh saying that unknown person robbed her jewelry shop on February 25.

According to her, the thief stole gold jewelry to a total amount of 27,050 somoni.

The 39-year-old resident of the Vakhsh district, Rustam Qosimov, was arrested on suspicion of robbing the jewelry shop.  Material evidences were reportedly found in his home.

Criminal proceedings have been instituted against Rustam Qosimov and an investigation is under way.
