Due to Tajikistan’s call for aid as the result of natural disasters taken place in Khatlon Province and Gorno Badahshan Autonomous Region in July 2015, the Republic of Turkey decided to relieve food aid to people who were affected by the disasters.
More than 28 tons of food aid for totally 160 families (each 177 kg) living in the disaster area, is delivered by the representatives of the Turkish Embassy in Dushanbe and Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency to the officials from State Material Reserve Agency under the Government of Tajikistan on 10 August 2015.
