Dushanbe. 14 August. “Asia Plus” — Today, 14 August, the Tajik President, Emomali Rahmon, has made a number of personnel reshuffles among the heads of the Main Department of the Border Troops of the State Committee on National Security of the Republic.

According to the press services of the head of the state, lieutenant-general Abdurahmon Azimov has been released from the post of the Head of the High Border College of the State Department of Border Troops of SCNS of the RT due to the retirement. He has been replaced by Safarali Nazirov who has previously worked as Deputy Commander of Border Troops.

Muhammad Haidar Jafarzoda who had previously worked as Deputy Chairman of the SDBT of SCNS on personnel issues, has been appointed the Head of the Department of Border Troops for Soghd Region.

The President has also appointed new chairmen of departments of border troops of the country for GBAO and Khatlon Region. Their names have not been shared.

The Head of the State has approved the appointments of the chairmen of the border troops in Mastchoh, Ganj, Asht, Istravshan districts, as well as in the border posts of Ishkashim, Shurobod, Pyanj, training centers of “Halkyor” and “Langar”.
