August. “Asia Plus” — Emomali Rahmon congratulated the Prime Minister of India Norendra Modi on the National holiday – the Independence Day of India. At the congratulatory telegram Rahmon said: “We are delighted considerable achievements of your country in all important areas of life and evidence of this is the beginning of a process of India”s full membership in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization”.


The telegram says that the strengthening and expansion of cooperation with India in various areas is headed purposeful foreign policy of Tajikistan.


“It is encouraging that constructive and partnership commonwealth of Tajikistan and India in different areas of economy, trade, education, culture, security and military develops and expands every year”, – emphasizes congratulatory telegram. 


Emomali Rahmon hopes, that “the implementation of the agreements and contracts signed during your last visit to Tajikistan will undoubtedly contribute to the development and expansion of our cooperation in the interest of the parties and strengthen stability in the region. For our part we will use all the possible opportunities and take effective measures in this direction”.
