Dushanbe. 1 September. “Asia Plus” —  Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloev on August 31 held a special meeting with the Heads of law enforcement bodies of the city, Heads of relevant structures of the city administration, the Heads of industrial enterprises and economic entities.

As said the source in the administration of the capital”s mayor, the mayor has paid special attention to the preparations for the new academic year, the work of public transport, the preparation for the celebration of the 24th anniversary of Independence Day of Tajikistan and the summit of Heads of CSTO member states that will be held in the capital on 14-15 September.

The mayor instructed his Deputy Jamila Langarieva for one week to study the issue related to the intended use of the so-called public places and to prepare a draft decision for their further use to create jobs for housewives.

The Mayor expressed the satisfaction with the state of the household waste removal from Shohmansur and Firdavsi territories and metropolitan areas, gave to the Heads of Sino and Somoni districts two weeks to eliminate the shortcomings in this area.

As reported the law enforcement agencies of the capital, under the guise of so-called “public spaces” in the city were built hundreds of illegal of mosques. Activities of such mosques in recent months in Dushanbe were completely banned by the authorities.
