Dushanbe, January 15, 2016, Asia-Plus – A 67-year-old resident of the Bobojonghafourov district in Sughd province, has been detained by local police on suspicion of killing his daughter-in-law.

According to the Interior ministry’s website, the man, who was a teacher at local Technical College, inflicted several stab wounds on his daughter-in-law in the evening of January 13 following domestic quarrel.

Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the man and an investigation is under way.
