DUSHANBE, March 31, 2016, Asia-Plus – On Thursday March 31, Tajik First Deputy Foreign Minister, Nizomiddin Zohidi, received a Korea delegation, led by the Foreign Ministry”s Director-General for European Affairs Park Chul-min.

According to the Tajik MFA information department, the Korean delegation arrived Dushanbe for participation in political consultations.

The two sides reportedly discussed state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and South Korea.

They highly appraised the level of cooperation between the two countries both in bilateral and multilateral formats as well as the process of implementation of agreements that were reached during Tajik president’s visit to South Korea in April 2015.

The two sides also discussed further plans and ways of intensification of a joint work of the foreign ministries of the two countries to promote expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and South Korea in various fields, the source said.
