DUSHANBE, May 27, 2016, Asia-Plus – Tajik President Emomali Rahmon yesterday had a telephone conversation with his Kazakh counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev.

According to the Tajik president’s official website, the conversation took place on the initiative of the Kazakh side.    

Nazarbayev reportedly congratulated Rahmon on holding of the constitutional referendum and wished Tajikistan further development and prosperity.

The heads of the two friendly countries also exchanged views on issues related to bilateral cooperation and regional security and stability.
