The program is aimed to increase and strengthen the doctors’ theoretical and practical knowledge on rapid and accurate evaluation the patient’s condition; resuscitation and stabilization approach of the patient”s condition based on prioritization; taking decisions on appropriate level of the health facility in order to meet the patient needs; medical sorting of injured upon admission to the hospital.

During March and April, similar courses were conducted in Kulob and Qurghon Teppa cities.  Until now, 128 doctors from all around Tajikistan have improved their ability to provide emergency trauma care, through the courses implemented by the ICRC since 2014.  In order to reduce the external support, the possible local trainers were identified among the participants during the implementation of the course program.

Conducting of this training has reportedly become possible due to proactive organizational support of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection.
