This morning the President with a working trip went in Dangara district of Khatlon region. There Emomali Rahmon commissioned the first textile complex of the Closed Joint-Stock Company “Juntai Dangara Sin Silu Textiles".  

As reports the press service of the head of state, the beginning of the construction of the plant, which can process 52 thousand tons of cotton fiber and produce 150 million meters of textiles made of cotton in a year, was laid by Emomali Rahmon in December 2014.

At the enterprise the permanent job will be provided to more than 6 thousand citizens of the country.

The enterprise was built by Chinese investments, it is equipped with equipment from the USA, Italy, Switzerland, Germany and China. For the construction of the enterprise was invested more than 600 million somoni.

In his speech before the employees of the enterprise the President of Tajikistan stated that annually the country produces 100-120 thousand tons of cotton fiber, of which 10-12 thousand tons are used on domestic enterprises, and nearly 80 percent of textile products in the country is imported from abroad. Working in this direction enterprise in Dangara will be a powerful import substitution producer, said the head of state.
