The President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon launched the construction of the buildings of the State medical University of Khatlon and multifunction hospital in the administrative center of Danghara district, reports the press service of the President.

It is noted that the structures of the State medical University will be built on an area of 23 hectares at the expense of financing of the government of the RT.

According to the developed project, it is planned to build 15 buildings and other ancillary facilities, in particular the main building, four academic buildings, two blocks of hostels for students and one for teachers, three classrooms for lectures, dining room, gym and sports ground, swimming pool, a modern clinic and etc.

The construction of a nine-storey main building of the future medical institute will be completed within two years.

It is expected that on the first stage at the medical University of Khatlon 4,5 thousand students will receive education within six years.

Near the construction site of the medical University also began the construction of the Medical College of Danghara district and hospital for Infectious diseases.
