In the framework of working visit to Danghara district, the President Emomali Rahmon in solemn ceremony today took part in the opening of Danghara State University.

As reports the press service of the President, the construction of a new State University was started in March 2008. 177,5 million somoni were spent for its construction. In the future it will be able to study more than 4 thousand students. At the moment 2 thousand 615 students from all regions of the Republic and the districts of Republican subordination study in Danghara State University.

Danghara state University has 17 buildings, including two 9-floor hostels for students, three 5-floor houses for teachers, gymnasium, meeting room, dining room and library.

The new State University has 6 faculties, 20 departments, there will be studied future teachers, specialists in modern technologies, farmers, economists, engineers, lawyers.
