The President has also pointed out to them to be in constant combat readiness in the current volatile and turbulent world.

The armed forces of Tajikistan in a short period of time became an organized structure and a reliable shield of the Motherland, said President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on Thursday, September 8, speaking at the Military parade, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the State independence of Tajikistan, which was held this morning in the capital.

The President expressed full confidence in the vigilance of the officers and soldiers – “reliable defenders of Motherland”, who, according to the President, will make “persistent efforts” in order to perform their tasks.

E. Rahmon specifically urged security forces "to be smart and vigilant" and to be "in constant combat readiness in the current volatile and turbulent world".

The President ordered to the leadership of law enforcement bodies and power structures to take necessary measures towards the fight against terrorism, extremism, security of the state and society.

More than 16 thousand soldiers of all kinds of Armed forces of the country took part in the capital's parade.

State television carried a live broadcast of the military parade.
