On Wednesday February 22, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon inaugurated a new Border Guards Training Center in Dushanbe, according to the Tajik president’s official website.  

Communication operators, combat engineer, drivers and snipers of Tajik border troops will take training courses at this Center.  

2.8 million somoni have reportedly been spent for construction of this Border Guards Training Center. 

On the same day, the president held a meeting with representatives of the country’s Armed Forces at the Center on the occasion of the 24th anniversary of formation of Tajikistan’s Armed Forces.
