Dushanbe Mayor Rustam Emomali has ordered to launch a route that would connect the southern and western parts of Tajik capital.

The mayor has signed a decree on launching the pilot public transport route connecting the southern and western parts of the city, the press center of the Dushanbe mayor’s office noted Monday afternoon.

Minivans No 50 will run along this route that will connect the Choryakkoron community (Hisor direction) and the Faroz passenger terminal at the Korvon Bazaar, Dushanbe’s biggest wholesale market (Qurghon Teppa direction).  

The mayor has ordered to hold a tender for selection of a company for maintenance of the route, the press center added.
