In Tajikistan, the arrival of military delegations from two countries – Pakistan and China is expected. Visits will be held almost at the same time.

On August 26, a military delegation from Pakistan headed by the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Pakistan, General Rahil Sharif is expected to arrive in Dushanbe, an source in the power bloc of the Government of Tajikistan told “AP”.

During the meeting of the military delegation of Pakistan with the Tajik authorities, special attention will be paid to ensuring regional security, the situation in Afghanistan, cooperation of the parties in the fight against terrorism and extremism.

On August 27, the delegation of the People's Liberation Army of China headed by Fan Fenghui, the chief of the PLA General Staff, arrives in Dushanbe.

During the talks, it is planned to discuss issues related to the development of military and military-technical cooperation of the parties, the training of officers for the Tajik army in military universities in China.

It is expected that the Pakistani and Chinese generals will be received by Tajik President Emomali Rahmon.
