Tajik judoka wins gold medal at Tashkent Grand Prix 2017

Tajik judoka Komronshoh Ustopiriyon has won gold medal at the Tashkent Grand Prix 2017, finishing first in the -90kg category.  According to the National Olympic Committee of Tajikistan, Ustopiriyon defeated Uzbek judokas Doston Mallayev and Doniyor Imomov before reaching final. Tajik judoka Komronshoh Ustopiriyon has won gold medal at the Tashkent Grand Prix 2017, finishing first in the -90kg category. 

According to the National Olympic Committee of Tajikistan, Ustopiriyon defeated Uzbek judokas Doston Mallayev and Doniyor Imomov before reaching final.

In final, he also defeated Uzbek judoka Dilshod Choriyev.

In all, nine Tajik judokas participated in the Tashkent Grand Prix 2017, which took place in the Uzbek capital from October 6 to October 8.
