Military exercises of Tajikistan and China completed on Badakhshan. The number of participating military and technology is not reported, but experts call them the largest in the history of military interaction between two countries.

The exercises involved a battalion of soldiers and officers of the mobile forces of the Ministry of Defense of Tajikistan and soldiers and officers of a special company of the People's Liberation Army of China. Armored personnel carriers, tanks, artillery and aviation – all types of equipment were involved.

Exercises took place at a training ground in Ishkashim district of GBAO, which borders with Afghanistan. According to the scenario, military personnel liquidate conditional terrorists who infiltrated Tajikistan.
