Tajik President Emomali Rahmon will take part in festive events dedicated to the 28th anniversary of independence of the republic and the launch of the second unit of the Rogun Hydroelectric Power Station in Dushanbe and Kulob.

On September 9, he will take part in a festive concert and theatrical performance, which will be held in the capital's Navruzgokh, and on September 10 he will go to Kulob, where the celebration of two important dates for Tajikistan will continue, said a source in government.

In Kulob, according to a source, Emomali Rahmon will commission two schools, two hospitals, a music college, an amusement park, a reconstructed city culture and leisure park.

In the evening of September 11, a concert will be held in the amphitheater of Kulob. 5.7 thousand people will be involved in a mass theatrical performance.
