Rolling blackouts have been resumed in some areas of Dushanbe again, though the Dushanbe electricity supply network announced a week ago that maintenance works have been completed in Dushanbe and electricity will no longer be turned off.

Meanwhile, an official source within the Dushanbe electricity supply network says, “Today, electricity will be cut off to Chagahtai, Armughon and Shafaq neighborhoods in Dushanbe’s Ismoili Somoni district in connection with the routine maintenance work on power stations in these areas.

According to him, these areas will have no electricity from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Exactly a week ago, representatives of the Dushanbe electricity supply network assured that there will be no repair works on the networks until spring, with the exception of repair works in case of accidents.
