The snow that fell in some regions of the country yesterday has made roads more dangerous.
A fatal accident caused by icy road reportedly took place in the Zainabobod jamoat of the Roudaki district on January 6.
A 33-year-old local resident lost control of his heavy truck Shacman and it drove off the road and overturned, Ms. Umeda Yusufi, a spokeswoman for the Emergencies Committee, told Asia-Plus in an interview.
As a result of the accident, the driver and his passenger sustained various injuries and were hospitalized. The passenger died in hospital.
