The Islamic Republic of Iran sent the first batch of humanitarian aid to Tajikistan on May 12 to combat the coronavirus pandemic. By special flight from Mashhad to Dushanbe delivered 6 tons of  medicines.

According to the press attache of the Iranian Embassy in Tajikistan, Mohsen Farahbar is only the first batch of humanitarian aid: Iran will send several more aid parties in the near future by special flights to Tajikistan

He also said that on the way back this plane will export Iranian citizens from Tajikistan. In total – 140 people: these are Iranian tourists and businessmen.
