Tajik authorities say that this week they will return to Tajikistan all Tajik nationals being held at the temporary detention centers in the Russian Federation.

The Tajik Embassy in Moscow notes on its Facebook page that Tajik nationals being held at the Russian temporary detention centers over the last three months will be returned home first.

The return of other Tajik nationals stranded in Russia is currently under the consideration of the Republican Commission for Preventing the Further Spread of COVID-19 in Tajikistan, the Tajik Embassy says.

The process of the return of Tajik nationals stuck abroad will depend on creation of the necessary conditions, including availability of places in the quarantine zones, the Embassy adds.

In this connection, the Tajik Embassy in Moscow asks Tajik nationals stuck in Russia to keep track of information about flights from Russia to Tajikistan and information posted on official websites of the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan, the Tajik Embassy in Moscow and air companies.
