Over the past two weekend days Saturday and Sunday, the number of the officially confirmed cases of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) has increased in Tajikistan by 159 cases, bringing a total number of the officially confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country to 4,529.

2,673 COVID-19 patients have reportedly recovered as of June 8, 2020.  

No coronavirus-linked deaths were reported on June 6, according to the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population (MoHSPP),  

The number of COVID-19-related deaths reportedly remains the same in Tajikistan – 48.
