On Tuesday June 9, President Emomali Rahmon had telephone conversations with heads of Divashtich, Rasht, Nourobod, Tojikobod, Sangvor and Lakhsh districts to discuss health situation and harvesting campaign, according to the Tajik president’s official website.

The heads of the districts reportedly informed the head of state of the state of hospitals in their districts measures taken to prevent the spread of the infectious diseases.

They also reported on the process of harvesting campaign.        

The president, for his part, ordered the regional administrators to build infectious diseases hospitals in their districts in the near future and provide them with the state-of-the-art medical equipment and high-skilled specialists.  

The head of state also ordered to increase areas under potatoes by 40 percent, the Tajik president’s official website said.
