Three persons were killed and four other injured on July 19 as a passenger car crashed into  truck in the Roudaki district, according to the Interior Ministry’s website.  

The accident reportedly took place near the village of Zahmatobod at around 2:50 pm.   .

A 31-year-ld resident of the Yovon district, Parviz Davlatov, lost control of his Opel-Astra and it went into oncoming traffic and crashed into heavy truck driven by a 24-year-old resident of the city of Istaravshan, Daler Dodoboyev, the Interior Ministry’ website says.  

As a result of the collision, the driver of Opel-Astra and his two passengers died on the spot, while his four other passengers, including two children, sustained various injuries and were hospitalized. 

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
