Fire damages vegetable market in Dushanbe

A fire that broke out at Dushanbe’s Dehqon bazaar (vegetable market) last night have seriously damaged the bazaar. 

A source with the Interior Ministry says the fire broke out at the Dehqon Bazaar, which specializes in the wholesale of vegetables and fruits, at 00:40 and engulfed an area of more than 100 square meters.   

Ten fire crews were involved in extinguishing the fire and they managed to eliminate the sources of the fire in half an hour, the source said, noting that no injured was reported.  

According to him, the cause of the fire is under investigation.
