President Emomali Rahmon is paying working visit to the city of Hisor and the district of Roudaki today, a source within the Tajik government told Asia-Plus in an interview.
The main purpose of the visit is for the head of state to get acquainted with socioeconomic situation in those regions and the progress of preparations for the 30th anniversary of Tajikistan’s independence, which will be celebrated on September 9, 2021.
While in the regions, Emomali Rahmon will also inaugurate a number of economic and social facilities and hold meetings with regional administrators and local population.
During the visit, the head of state will pay a special attention to activities of agrarians, the source said.
