Law enforcement and security structures of Tajikistan switched to an enhanced version of service until the end of the election campaign in the country. This was reported to "Asia-Plus" in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic.

According to the source, from October 8, all law enforcement and security structures will completely switch to the barracks position.

Enhanced service option introduced in connection with the presidential elections in the country, scheduled for October 11.

During the election period, all public places, places of mass gathering of people, markets, avenues and streets of all large settlements of the country will be patrolled by reinforced squads of law enforcement agencies.

About 4 thousand polling stations, which will open on election day throughout the country, will be taken under 24-hour security.

An interdepartmental republican commission was formed to coordinate the actions of law enforcement and law enforcement officials during the election period.
