Chairpersons of Jomi and Khuroson districts and mayor of the city of Nurek were dismissed on November 11.

Said Yoqubzoda was relieved of his post of Chairman of the Jomi District.  He is expected to be replaced with Safar Rahimzoda, First Deputy Chairman of the Jomi District.  

Said Yoqubzoda had been Chairman of the Jomi District since May 5, 2019.    

Rahmatullo Safarzoda was also relieved of his post of Chairman of the Khuroson District.  He is expected to be replaced with Ilhom Ahmadzoda, First Deputy Chairman of the Khuroson District.

Maliksho Nematov has been relieved of his post of Mayor of Nurek City in connection with transfer to other job.

On November 10, he was appointed to head the Independent Trade Unions of Tajikistan. 

Dilshod Asozoda has been appointed Mayor of Nurek City.
