A fire erupted today in kindergarten No 2 in Bokhtar, the capital of Khatlon province.  No children were injured.

The Khatlon fire department says they received a fire signal at 7.18 am.  Nine firefighting crews reportedly participated in extinguishing the fire.  

No children were injured as they were not yet in the building at the time of the fire.  

The cause of the fire is under investigation and a special commission is working at the site of the fire to assess the real damage caused to the kindergarten by the fire.
