The 17th session of the Tajikistan-Russia intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation is being launched in Moscow today.

During two days, the parties are expected to discuss a number of issues related to further expansion of economic cooperation, resumption of regular air traffic between the two countries, the return of Tajik labor migrants to the Russian Federation an problems facing Tajik students studying at universities in Russia.

Meanwhile, an official website of Russian Youth notes that the Russian delegation o the Tajikistan-Russia intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation met on February 3 in a video-conferencing format.

They reportedly discussed the bilateral cooperation between Russia and Tajikistan in the fields of energy and education and some other issues that have been tabled to the agenda of the 17th session of the Tajikistan-Russia intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation.
