One more company has been granted a license to conduct audit at insurers, bringing a total number of insurance auditors in the country to 8.

The National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) on April 16 gave a license to PKF Tojikiston LLC to conduct audit at insurance (reinsurance) companies in Tajikistan.

According to the NBT press center, the license has been granted to PKF Tojikiston LLC for five years.  

The NBT Insurance Supervision Department is ordered to add PKF Tojikiston to the register of companies authorized to conduct audit at insurance (reinsurance) companies. 

Now, there are eight insurance auditors operating in Tajikistan.  

Nineteen insurers now operate in Tajikistan insurance market, including two state-run insurance companies (Tojiksughurta and Tojiksarmoyaguzor), 16 non-state insurers and one mutual insurance support center.  The most active insurers of the private sector are Spitamen-Sughurta and MUIN.

Besides, there eleven audit companies that can conduct audit at lending agencies in the country.
