President Emomali Rahmon’s working visit to the northern province of Sughd is going on.

On the second day (July 29) of his trip, the head of state visited Shahriston, Spitamen and Jabbor-Rasoulov districts, according to the Tajik president’s official website.  

In Shahriston district, Emomali Rahmon attended official opening ceremonies of water supply system, National Flag square and new school # 19.  

In Spitamen district, the president got acquainted with operation of the poultry farm “Faizi Sahar” in Kurush jamoat and attended an official opening ceremony of “Somoniyon” Palace, which had been built by local entrepreneurs Maqsoudjon Rahmonov and Mansourjon Rahmonov.   

Emomali Rahmon held a meeting with 100 orphaned children from Spitamen, Buston, Guliston, Jabbor-Rasoulov, Bobojon-Ghafourov, Devashtich and Zafarobod districts in the “Somoniyon” Palace.

In Jabbor-Rasoulov district, the head of state visited the subsidiary farm of the local police department.

The subsidiary farm was established on an area of 1.36 hectares in the village of Sari Chashma.  More than 830 various fruit trees as well as feed crops and various vegetables have been planted in the farm that was established in 2018. 

In Rukhak area, Emomali Rahmon attended official opening ceremonies of a 3.2-hectare fish pond and “Sughd Trout” restaurant.
