President inaugurates a number of economic and social facilities in Tursunzoda

President Emomali Rahmon today paid a working visit to the city of Tursunzoda (western Tajikistan).  The Minister of Industry and New Technologies Sherali Kabir is accompanying him on this trip.

According to the Tajik president’s official website, the purpose of the visit is for the head of state to get acquainted with the socioeconomic situation in the area and inaugurate new facilities.

Thus, Emomali Rahmon attended an official opening ceremony of the first line of the enterprise producing aluminum profiles, Aluminiy Prof (Aluminum Profile) LTD.  

This enterprise will have capacity of processing more than 7,200 tons of aluminum per year.

The head of state also attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the second line of this enterprise.

Emomali Rahmon today also visited the exhibition of goods manufactured by the Tursunzoda-based industrial enterprises.

Besides, Emomali Rahmon attended an official opening ceremony of boarding school, construction of which had been finance by local entrepreneur Jurabek Muhibov.          

The school will accommodate 1,000 pupils on one shift.   

The head of state also inaugurated the children’s art school in Tursunzoda.  

Emomali Rahmon will also inaugurate the largest in this region greenhouse farm, Chess Palace and Amphitheater in Tursunzoda.
