On the instructions of the mayor of Dushanbe, on the eve of the 30th anniversary of the state independence of Tajikistan, participants and invalids of the Great Patriotic War, persons equated to them, orphans and children from boarding schools in the capital will receive one-time financial assistance.

The mayor of Dushanbe signed a decision to provide financial assistance to the above-named persons at the expense of sponsors, charitable foundations and other sources of funding, the press service of the mayor's office reports. 

The execution of this decision is entrusted to the heads of the metropolitan areas.

According to the Asia-Plus source in the capital's mayor's office, it is not yet known how much each veteran of the Great Patriotic War, persons equated to them, orphans and pupils of city boarding schools will receive..
