 In total, over 162 thousand soldiers, officers and reservists of the national army took part in the parades.

Military parades dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Republic's State Independence Day were held in all cities and regions of Tajikistan today, said the head of the press center of the Ministry of Defense of the country, Colonel Faridun Mahmadalizoda.

 According to him, a total of over 162 thousand soldiers, officers and reservists of the national army took part in the parades

 «Only in the military parade in Dushanbe, which was attended by the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, about 30 thousand soldiers, officers and reservists of the national army took part», – noted the source.

He stressed that all the participants in the military parades had returned to their places of permanent deployment by this hour.

There have never been such large-scale parades in the history of Tajikistan, the source said.

At the moment, the press service of the head of state has not published a photo from the parade on the main square of the country, at which the president spoke, but the press service of the Khujand mayor's office has already posted on Facebook a photo from the parade that took place today in the administrative center of Sughd.
