«We see Russia as a reliable partner and hope that our cooperation will develop in all areas, including healthcare. We hope that this assistance from Russia will facilitate the provision of timely assistance to our citizens».

«This is not the first action that Russia has provided assistance to Tajikistan to strengthen the national health system. Our cooperation in this area is developing dynamically, including in the framework of the joint fight against coronavirus infection. Currently, almost 2,700 Tajik girls and boys are studying in Russia in medical specialties. This is also a great contribution of Russia to the development of healthcare in Tajikistan», – the Ambassador of Russia emphasized.

O. Lyakina noted the importance of Russian-Tajik relations: “The donation of cars is just proof that Russia values these strategically important relations. It is symbolic that today's event is taking place on the eve of very significant international events for our countries and the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to friendly Tajikistan”.

She solemnly handed over the keys to 10 new ambulances to M. Sattoriyon, on board which are equipped with modern medical equipment, including portable ventilators, defibrillator monitors, electrocardiographs, oxygen reducer-inhalers and much more.

Russia is one of the key partners in strengthening the health care system and sanitary and epidemiological welfare of Tajikistan.
