Rahmon held a meeting with an active member of one of the hotbeds of the civil war in Tajikistan.

Emomali Rahmon, as part of a working trip to the districts of the Rasht Valley, on September 20, in the Sangvor region (formerly Tavildara), held a meeting with the district activists, where he spoke about the prospects for the development of the region.

The head of state noted that over 30 years of state independence of Tajikistan, the government of the country has allocated over 914 million somoni for the development of Sangvorthe press service of the head of state reports.

In addition, for the development of the region, 8 investment projects have been implemented for a total amount of 24 million somoni, for Sangvor during the specified period, about 150 million somoni of foreign direct investment were attracted..

The President said that for 2021 – 2025, the Tajik government will send 150 million somoni for the development of Sangvor.

Before meeting with district activists, Emomali Rahmon put into operation the building of the ruling People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan, launched the construction of the Kalidchai Zarrin kindergarten, and visited the exhibition of the region's farmers' achievements.
