Four road accidents occurred this weekend. Five people died.

On Sunday, in the Dangara region, the driver of a Toyota-Camry car, 23-year-old Daler Rakhmonov, had an accident that resulted in the death of a passenger. The driver and three of his passengers are hospitalized, the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan reports.

On the same day, on the Dushanbe-Kulyab highway, an Opel Astra driven by a 71-year-old resident of the capital, Nurali Khikmatulloyev collided with another Opel driven by a 41-year-old Kulyab resident Sharifkhon Goibov, as a result of an accident, both drivers were killed, the message says.

On Sunday, 24-year-old resident of Varzob district Nurmukhammad Bakhodurov, traveling from Varzob to Dushanbe, lost control of his VAZ-21015 and crashed into a concrete fence. As a result of an accident, a one-year-old girl who was in the car's salon died.

On September 26, a BMW driver, a resident of the Jaihun district Kurbonali Karimov in the territory of the village of Nizhniy Pyanj, hit a pedestrian: 6-year-old Oyishamakh Toshova, as a result of which the girl died.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan, for the six months of this year, 472 road accidents were registered in the republic, as a result of which 159 people died, 537 citizens were injured.
