A resident of the city of Levakant, Khatlon region, Azizjon Amirshoev, in March 2019, created a fictitious company Levakant LLC and began to engage in illegal entrepreneurship,  the press center of the Prosecutor General's Office of Tajikistanbreports

From May to December 2019, Amirshoev brought construction materials and foodstuffs to Tajikistan from Iran and China for a total of 3,856,590 US dollars, and did not pay taxes in the amount of about 1.5 million somoni, the report says..

The court of the city of Levakant found Amirshoev guilty under Articles 260 of illegal formation (creation, reorganization) of a legal entity, 292 (evasion of taxes and (or) fees from a legal entity) of the Criminal Code of Tajikistan.

The entrepreneur was sentenced to three years in a general regime colony, he is prohibited from doing business in the future
