The Supreme Court of Tajikistan sentenced 30-year-old Rakhmatullo Gadoev, accused of the murder of 8-year-old Rufaida Inoyatova, to life imprisonment.

This was reported by the lawyer of the family of the deceased Zebo Muborova.

According to the lawyer, the trial ended today. She also added that the case "was considered in accordance with the law and no violations were recorded."

Recall that the trial began on October 12, three months after the high-profile murder of Rufaida. The meeting was held behind closed doors.

And on July 14, in the television report "Akhbori VKD" (News of the Ministry of Internal Affairs), Gadoev showed in detail how he committed this crime.

He then admitted that in a state of alcoholic intoxication, taking advantage of the absence of other family members, he raped the girl, and then killed her, and threw the decapitated body into the toilet.
