Programmer develops portal for Tajik educational institutions

Programmer Rahmatsho Bakhtiyorov has developed a student portal, student.tj, which allows Tajik educational institutions to completely digitize their services, including gradually phasing out paper documents. 

To-date, the Medical University of Tajikistan, the Agricultural University of Tajikistan the Republican Medical College, the Khujand Medical College and the Bobojon-Ghafourov Medical College have reportedly joined this initiative.  

The student.tj portal is not only an online diary or an online attendance and timetable register.  It also enables distance learning and testing as well as includes ranking of teachers and students that, according to Rahmatsho Bakhtiyorov, certainly motivates them to fruitful cooperation.  

A republican chat is about to be launched inside the portal that will it to be considered a small student social network.   The chat is currently available to the teaching staff only.
