The 42-year-old resident of Dushanbe is suspected of shaking four persons down for a total of more than 500,000 somonis, according to the Interior Ministry’s official website.

On August 21, 2020, he reportedly took 15,000 U.S. dollars form the 37-year-old resident of Dushanbe promising to help him purchase an apartment in a high-rise new building in Vahdat Township, but he didn't keep his promise.

On May 28, 2020, infiltrating the 28-year-old resident of Khatlon’s Vose district, he took 133,000 somonis from him, but did not pay back the money.

The man is also suspected of hitting two other persons for a total of 249,000 somonis. 

On October 8, 2018, gaining confidence of the 42-year-old resident of Vahdat Township, the man took 127,000 somonis, but did not pay back the money.

In August 2019, the fraudulently took 122,000 somonis from another resident of Vahdat Township, the Interior Ministry’s official website says.  

Investigation has been launched into all the four cases.
