Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin took part in the ministerial meeting of the countries of Central Asia and the United States of America in the «C5+1» format.

The meeting took place on September 22 in New York on the sidelines of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

"The parties exchanged views on topical issues of the international and regional agenda, including the situation in Afghanistan, the fight against terrorism and extremism, as well as other challenges and threats to security, and stressed the need to strengthen cooperation between the countries of the region", – informs the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.
