As part of his working visit to Khatlon province, President Emomali Rahmon today inaugurated a number of social and economic facilities in Bokhtar, the capital of Khatlon province, according to the Tajik president’s official website. 

Thus, the head of state attended an official opening ceremony of an additional five-story educational and medical building and dormitory for students of the non-government Medical Social College.

Next to the College, a hospital was reportedly opened in a new building equipped with the latest technology.  

The president then got acquainted with the activities of the Dehai Man enterprise, which has six lines on processing and packaging of agricultural products.  

While in Bokhtar, Emomali Rahmon reportedly also attended an official opening ceremony of the Bokhtar-Shifer (Bokhtar-Slate) industrial enterprise.  This limited liability company is engaged in producing asbestos pipes.
