In Tajikistan, price for almost all food products go up during the holy month of Ramadan basic foods products.  Meanwhile, this year, prices for basic food products still remain almost unchanged in the country during Ramadan. 

Thus, prices for onions and cabbages have slightly reduced, while prices for carrots and cauliflowers have slightly risen on the eve of the holy month of Ramadan.  

Depending on the region, current average prices are 250-300 somonis for a 50-kilgoram sack of grade I wheat flour, 17-19 somonis for one liter of vegetable oil, 10-11 somonis for one kilogram of sugar, 6-9 somonis for one liter of milk, 45-70 somonis for one kilogram of cheese, 9-12 somonis for one kilogram of macaroni products, 70-100 somonis for one kilogram of honey, 60-75 somonis for one kilogram of lamb, 55-70 somonis for one kilogram of beef, 1.10-1.50 somonis for one egg, 12-25 somonis for one kilogram of rice, 15020 somonis for one kilogram of buckwheat, and so forth.
