Based on the annual inflation rate in 2022, the value of the minimum consumption expenses calculated for 2023 was 568,000 sums per person per month, Uzbekistan’s Statistics Agency reported, according to Kun.uz News Agency.

Kun.uz notes that in May 2021, the minimum consumption expenditure was set at 440,000 sums, and in January last year, it was set at 498,000 sums.  .

For information, the amount of minimum consumer spending in Uzbekistan was 440 thousand sums in 2021, and from January 2022, it was set at 498 thousand sums.

The new amount of 568,000 sums is 12.4% higher than the previous 498,000 sums.  In Uzbekistan, an official inflation rate for 2022 was 12.3%.
