About an hour ago, a large fire occurred at the “Ajr” enterprise on the territory of Bobojon Gafurov district.

The company produces toilet paper and paper napkins. According to one of the employees of the company, the fire was recorded at about 12 o'clock.

According to her, more than 10 fire brigades were sent to the scene, which extinguished the fire for about 40 minutes.

"Fortunately, the fire was extinguished in time and it did not spread to the gas station which is located not far from the enterprise," the woman said.

She also said that 3 ambulances arrived at the scene, but, according to her, no one needed help.

Employees of the enterprise also reported that products and raw materials, as well as personal belongings and documents of employees were burned inside the enterprise. Currently, the fire is localized, the enterprise is cordoned off by police officers.

It is reported that the store next to the enterprise, where they sell toilet paper, soap and household chemicals, was also affected.

Details of the incident are being clarified. Information about the victims has not yet been received.
